Happy Chinese New Year to all readers of this blog! The first day of Chinese New Year is on Monday, February 8 2016. In Singapore, we have two days of public holidays, on February 8 and February 9.

    I did enjoy when I was in Singapore experiencing the Chinese New Year. It made for such a complete shutting down of the city, that otherwise hardly ever seemed to slacken, that even the most familiar things got to be engagingly new.

    • Yeah the pace of life is getting very fast in Singapore.. Traditionally Chinese New Year celebrations is supposed to last for at least half a month. Glad you enjoyed your time during Chinese New Year!
