The Leap Forward

We are very proud to present you the new **Mathist. **It is a real sneak peak into the future, that allows you to easily solve and compute anything you write with a single click!

Here are some examples;

**Simplify any expression to speed up problem solving,****Plot graphs,****Evaluate expressions and get approximate values,****Solve equations and inequalities (with visual representation),****Solve definite and indefinite integrals (with visual representation),****Crunch difficult logarithms,****Find derivatives and much more…**

**You can do all of this with just one button: **

Why is this important?

**Have you ever worked on a problem**, *that is easy to understand, but just requires too much number crunching?**– **So did we!*

We understand that learning a million new things every day as a technology or a science student doesn’t leave too much time for crunching math. And yet in most cases you cannot solve…

Hello mathtuition88),

My name is Marko Pavlovic and I am the founder of The Mathist. I would like to thank you for supporting The Mathist blog, and for taking the time to have a look at our app.

Since The Mathist is still very young, we would like to know if you potentially see a way that The Mathist could help you in your work as a math tutor? We are doing our best to make it useful for students like ourselves, but also we would really like to know if there is a feature that you would find useful, as a teacher?

Best Regards,

Marko & The Mathist team

Hi Marko,

Thanks for your post. The Mathist is a wonderful app with great potential. Currently, I find it very interesting, but haven’t got around to using it yet. Keep up the good work!

I have a humble suggestion, adding a whiteboard with handwriting recognition would really be great for teaching.

Best regards,

William

Hi William,

We are very glad that you find our app interesting. Also I would like to thank you for your feedback and to notify you that the whiteboard feature you pointed out will be ready in the next few days. 🙂

We hope that you will come by and take a look at the progress. It will be on our blog when we release an update.

Also we are working hard to implement the handwriting recognition functionality, and that is probably the reason why we will develop the android version of the app soon.

We are looking forward to hearing your opinion on the upcoming update and discussing any topics related to improving math tuition through technology 🙂

Best regards,

Marko
