Translation: How do we move only 1 matchstick to make the equation valid?

(“Not Equals” sign $\neq$ is not allowed)

This is a really tricky question… Hint: Need to think in Chinese, this is a Chinese joke 😛

• Hi, the solution is to move one matchstick from the minus sign, to make 1加1=2
“加” is the Chinese word for “add”. 🙂

2. 1+ 01 = 2¹ or 1– 01 = 2¹ (but 2 moves)
